TEDDY ROCKIN’

We were walking along on a
Saturday night,
Charlie and Markie and me.
Heard a sound off the path and
though there was no light,
We followed the sound
through the trees.
Somewhere deep in the woods
we found a teddy bear band,
They asked if we could join in
and lend them a hand.

Charlie picked up his guitar,
Marked sat at the drums.
My sax was playing
eight-to-the-bar.
Grizzly slid on trombone,
Pandy started to strum
On the strings of the
‘lectric guitar
Then a chorus of bears sang
the back-up sounds.
A Kodiak there sang lead, he
was dancing around.

Big drums awaken, shakin’ up
The bears’ neighborhood.
Over and under, thunder winds
it’s way through the wood.
